Dec 2 – Hanukkah is an 8 day Jewish holiday celebrating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. It is often called the festival of lights. This year the first day of Hanukkah is Dec 2nd, but the celebration begins the night before at sundown.

December 25 – Christmas is celebrated by millions of people all over the world. For Christians, Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a holiday that is based on traditions; it  is a universal holiday that brings people and families together all over the world

Dec 26 -Kwanzaa is an African American celebration of traditional African values of family, community, commerce and self improvement.

Dec 31 – New Year’s Eve is the last day of the year. It is celebrated around the world with fireworks, parties, and a midnight countdown to bring in the New Year.
