If you are planning a trip through one of our national parks, why not take advantage of the \u201cFree Days?\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em><strong>They are:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>January 19<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/news\/release.htm?id=1670\"><em>Martin Luther King Jr. Day<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>February 14-16<br \/>\n<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/news\/release.htm?id=1677\"><em>Presidents Day weekend<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>April 18-19<br \/>\n<em>opening weekend of National Park Week<\/em><\/li>\n<li>August 25<br \/>\n<em>National Park Service Birthday<\/em><\/li>\n<li>September 26<br \/>\n<em>National Public Lands Day<\/em><\/li>\n<li>November 11<br \/>\n<em>Veterans Day<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/findapark\/feefreeparksbystate.htm\">Only 127<\/a> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em><strong>of our country&#8217;s 407 national parks usually charge an entrance fee. So start<\/strong><\/em><\/span> <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><em><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/pub_aff\/plan_your_visit\/index.htm\">planning your visit<\/a>!<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re planning a trip that includes multiple national parks, you might consider the $80 annual pass that provides entrance to all national parks, national wildlife refuges, national forests, and many other Federal lands-more than 2,000 in all.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nps.gov\/findapark\/passes.htm\">America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>is offered free to all active duty military members and their dependents. Information on these and other pass options is available online.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">*Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees to the parks.
