Look for the low-sodium or \u201cno salt added\u201d brands of canned soups, vegetables, snack foods, and lunch meats.<\/li>\n<li>Get <b>more fiber<\/b>. Fiber is in vegetables, fruits, and whole grains.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Take this list with you the next time you go food shopping.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em><b>Healthy Vegetables and Fruits<\/b><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Eat a variety of vegetables and fruits. To save money, buy vegetables and fruits that are in season, frozen, or canned.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, and\u00a0spinach<\/li>\n<li>Leafy greens for salads<\/li>\n<li>Canned vegetables low in sodium (salt)<\/li>\n<li>Frozen vegetables without added butter or sauces<\/li>\n<li>Fresh fruits such as apples, oranges, bananas, pears, and peaches<\/li>\n<li>Canned fruit in 100% juice, <b>not<\/b> syrup<\/li>\n<li>Dried fruit<\/li>\n<li>Frozen berries without added sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em><b>Healthy Milk and Milk Products<\/b><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Look for fat-free or low-fat milk products. Or choose soy products with added calcium.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk<\/li>\n<li>Fat-free or low-fat yogurt<\/li>\n<li>Cheese (3 grams of fat or less per
