So how can we keep our children safe while playing a sport?<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em><strong>Safe Kids USA advises us to learn what we need to know to keep our kids safe when playing sports by focusing on:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Pre-participation Physical Evaluations &#8211; <\/strong>Make sure your child gets an annual physical screening before playing sports<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Concussion Prevention, Recognition and Response- <\/strong>Concussions are a brain injury. Know the signs of a concussion!
